J G Boyd Law LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Family Law Attorney to join our team in Decatur, GA. Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and alimony

Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, agreements, and court orders

Conduct client consultations and provide sound legal counsel on family law issues

Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes between opposing parties

Appear in court hearings, trials, and depositions on behalf of clients

Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining accurate and organized case files

Stay current on Georgia family law statutes, case law, and court procedures

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

Prior experience in family law, domestic relations, or litigation preferred

Strong knowledge of Georgia family law statutes and DeKalb County court procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy, discretion, and professionalism

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
