Practice Coordinator

- Manage front-desk operations by checking patients in/out, verifying registration information, and scanning insurance cards.
- Answer a high volume of incoming patient calls and proactively reach out to parents to schedule clinic appointments.
- Coordinate, secure, and log insurance authorizations across commercial, Medi-Cal, and CCS payers.
- Utilize advanced electronic health record tools to manage patient data, track incoming referrals, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working within a fast-paced medical office or outpatient clinic setting.
- strong proficiency and advanced operational skills utilizing EPIC electronic medical record systems are strictly required.
- Highly organized with excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass full background check and drug screen onboarding clearances.
- Must complete standard healthcare compliance screenings, including mandatory vaccinations (Flu, COVID-19, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, Tetanus) and annual TB testing.
