The Business Development Representative (BDR) - West, Central & East - is responsible for generating new business pipeline across the central United States. This outbound-focused role is a cornerstone of New Charter Technologies' go-to-market engine, targeting SMB and mid-market accounts across key central markets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach within the central US territory.
- Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders and develop personalized outreach strategies.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Senior Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline data within the CRM.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including calls, emails, and meetings booked.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign follow-up and lead qualification.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development programs.
- Provide feedback from prospects to marketing and product teams to inform messaging and positioning.
- Up to 25% travel
- Estimated Compensation Range: $45,000 - $65,000 base + commission
- 1-3 years of B2B sales development, inside sales, or outbound prospecting experience.
- Familiarity with IT services, managed services (MSP), or technology solutions preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Experience selling into SMB or mid-market accounts a plus.
- Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient with a hunter mentality.
- Coachable and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
