Your Role in This Community

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored treatment plans
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously (as per your credentials)
• Educating patients and their families about prevention, health maintenance, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing the appropriate medications and therapies within the scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and the management of chronic care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
