As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support a welcoming, professional environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer-focused approach will help deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, truck, and incident records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations. Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access control concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
