About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategy for non-semiconductor verticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the evolution of sales capability development, with a focus on strengthening prospecting effectiveness, sales skills, and business development best practices. This role involves partnering with the Chief Commercial Officer, leading the U.S. business development team, and creating a culture of accountability and high performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing both organic and inorganic sales strategies, strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and M&A, and will be adept at establishing and leading successful sales teams. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced business degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience. The role requires a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing business development teams. Experience in B2B industries such as logistics, supply chain, industrial services, manufacturing, or technology is essential, as is a proven track record in entering new markets and expanding commercial presence. The candidate must be adept at managing complex sales opportunities, building executive-level relationships, and leveraging data and technology to drive revenue growth. A hands-on, player-coach leadership style is also necessary, with the ability to actively participate in customer meetings and strategic account planning.
