TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 53916!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA ONLY required Must-Have: Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: Day and evening, 12-hour shifts will typically be 09:00 to 21:30 or 11:00 to 23:30. Weekend rotation is required, as well as every other holiday. The unit is open to considering 4x12 shifts and assignments up to 26 weeks if the traveler is interested. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Required skills include management of arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Additionally, travelers must be able to perform continuous IV sedation, interpretation of arterial blood gases, dysrhythmias, and obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG. Travelers must float as needed. The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 70. The unit is equipped for all level 1 trauma diagnoses. Barcode scanning must reach 95% accuracy to be eligible for an extension. All shifts have variable times. Travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are applying for. A telemetry exam will be required prior to starting, with strict passing criteria to be met. A passing score of 80% or higher on both adult and pediatric exams is required. Failure to pass after designated attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services.
