Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to evaluate their emotional, social, and educational needs.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on issues such as adjustment difficulties, grief, anxiety, and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with educators and healthcare teams to develop individualized support plans that enhance students' success both academically and emotionally.

• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to address concerns and ensure students receive the necessary support.

• Coordinate with community organizations to arrange resources and services post-discharge, ensuring continuity of care and support beyond the school environment.

• Participate in school and community committees to promote mental wellness and support awareness campaigns.

• Document all interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, offering immediate assistance to students facing acute mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing the varied psychosocial challenges they may encounter, both in and out of the classroom. You will work with students facing difficulties ranging from academic pressures, emotional distress, family dynamics, and other life transitions. By providing individualized support and counseling, you will directly contribute to the overall well-being and mental health of our community's youth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 yearly, dependent on experience and qualifications.
