Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

What You'll Do

• Perform general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• Conduct coronary artery bypass surgeries and valvular repairs/replacements
• Manage congenital defects and aneurysm repairs
• Execute lung resections, including VATS
• Perform chest wall/pleural surgeries and esophagus/diaphragm procedures
• Carry out endarterectomy (carotid and renal) and ventilation management
• Utilize bronchoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Evaluate and manage acute blood pressure/ventilation issues
• Collaborate with onsite lab and x-ray teams for comprehensive patient care

What You Need

• Valid Ohio medical license
• Board certification in Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong procedural skills in the listed surgeries
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills

About the Assignment

Join a full-service acute care hospital with 250 beds and 60 ICU beds. As the sole physician in your specialty, you'll provide critical surgical care for adult patients, supporting a team of mid-level providers and utilizing EPIC documentation systems. The facility is seeking a dedicated surgeon available for immediate, ongoing coverage to ensure continuous patient care.
