Medical Accounting Clerk LeadSpectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Medical Accounting Clerk Lead supporting Naval Health Clinic Hawaii near Pearl Harbor, HI.The primary responsibilities include:Verify health insuranceCoordinate completion of initial, remedial and annual training for its personnel providing servicesUtilize medical and billing programsAssign tasks, ensures that all assigned tasks are completed in compliance with federal regulations.Coordinate time off and sick leave requestsProvide accounting support requiring understanding basic accountingVerify and maintain and reconcile accountsPrepare and analyze accounting data and reportsProvide excellent customer service via in-person, by phone, and written communicationPosition requirements:Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificateMust possess one to three (1-3) years of experience as a lead in a general office environment (accounting experience required)Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelBe a US CitizenAbility to handle confidential dataBe physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and capable of normal ambulationStrong commitment to customer serviceShall read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently and maintain good communication skillsMust be procedure and detail oriented, utilize excellent follow up skills, and strive for 100% accuracyFamiliarity with modern office equipment, e.g. facsimile, copier, etcEOE/Disabled/VeteransLocation: US-HI-Pearl Harbor
