The Company operates 71 manufacturing and automation facilities across 20 countries and serves customers in over 160 countries.Location: GainesvilleJob ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to support our manufacturing operations by developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC machining programs. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient machining processes, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and operational standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations using engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and production methods.Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machine settings to achieve quality, productivity, and cost objectives.Perform machine setup verification and support first-piece inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.Analyze and troubleshoot machining issues, identifying corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Modify existing CNC programs to support process improvements, engineering changes, and new product introductions.Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve production challenges and optimize operations.Conduct testing and validation of CNC programs prior to production release.Maintain accurate documentation of programming revisions, setup instructions, tooling requirements, and process parameters.Support operator training and provide technical guidance on CNC programming and machining processes.Adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.Job RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Technology, Machining, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with CNC programming software, CAD/CAM systems, and G-code programming.Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.Working knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, drilling, and related manufacturing techniques.Experience with troubleshooting machine and programming issues in a production environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
