Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources Generalist will act as a trusted professional across all aspects of HR. Serving as a strategic partner to assigned regions, the HRG will advise on policies and programs, including but not limited to performance management, orientation and training, policy development and advisement, compensation, employee relations, insurance programs, and benefits.ResponsibilitiesPartners with the HR Manager and Director of People Operations to carry out vision and plans for HR programs throughout the companyAssists and manages day-to-day HR activities and provides counsel to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding all HR best practices, policy interpretation, policies, HR compliance and appropriate workplace conductProvides support and guidance to management and staff when complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations and investigating allegations of wrongdoingManages and collaborates with Talent, Payroll, HRIS, Benefits and hiring leadersSupports employee lifecycle activitiesProcesses, audit and ensures accuracy with all employee information and changes in HRIS system and maintains complete and accurate personnel records in compliance with company, federal and state compliance guidanceWorks proactively to participate in and drive quality improvement initiatives, such as new policies and procedures, in accordance with strategic goals of the organizationResponsible for assisting in or preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports and conducting HR training as neededManages aspects of insurance programs, including but not limited to Worker's Compensation and the various state and local compliance requirementsCompletes special projects, as assignedQualifications and RequirementsMinimum 3 years of HR experience, in a multi-state organizationExperience navigating complex employee relations issuesProficiency with ExcelStrong written and oral communication skillsProfessional in correspondence, with the ability to handle phone calls and electronic communications, effectively relaying messagesIndependent but also collaborative, with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a high volume of tasksBachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business or similar preferredWhy Work for EcoShield Pest Solutions?The Shield Co.
