Full Time
Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Administrative Unit Secretary supporting the Medical/Step-Down Unit. This role serves as the unit's receptionist and provides essential clerical services to ensure smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for managing the telemetry emergency phone and supporting communication within the unit.
Education
Experience as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in clerical or support roles, is beneficial. Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations is essential.
Requirements
This position involves extended periods of computer and monitor use, as well as sitting for long durations. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to hear and see clearly are necessary to perform job functions accurately. The role may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
