Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk - Onsite - Sacramento, CA at Gainwell, you’ll play an important role in supporting healthcare operations by accurately entering, reviewing, and processing information in a fast-paced production environment.

Your role in our mission

• Enter and process information from source claim documents accurately and efficiently.
• Review information for completeness and accuracy, identify data deficiencies, and make corrections according to established procedures.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while completing assigned work within required deadlines.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information while following established policies and procedures.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while contributing to the overall success of the Data Entry Operations team.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1 year of data entry, administrative, clerical, or related experience .
• Ability to perform data entry at a minimum speed of 9,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and accurately process high volumes of information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet productivity expectations and deadlines.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation.

What you should expect in this role

• This is a full-time, 100% onsite position in Sacramento, California .
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM .
• This position works in a production environment with established productivity, quality, and accuracy expectations.
• Candidates will be required to complete a 10-key/data entry assessment and achieve a minimum score of 9,000 KSPH .
• Candidates will also be required to complete a skills and competency assessment before advancing to the next stage of the selection process.

The pay range for this position is $32,600 - $46,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
