Tools Administrator

Responsibilities Monitor queues and assign tickets; verify correct routing and reroute incorrect tickets. Assign and prioritize tickets to support resources based on location and required skillset. Notify on‑site resources of critical or high‑priority tickets. Coordinate ticket resolution activities with end‑users, including scheduling on‑site visits and follow‑up. Maintain proper ticket status for all tickets within a defined queue. Document resolution activities in tickets, including end‑user communications, interactions, and ticket closure. Technical Skills Required 7‑10 years of Windows Server experience (2012, 2016 – MDT, DNS, DHCP). Understanding of general networking, subnets, and VLANs. 5+ years of VMware Hypervisor and vCenter experience. Experience imaging Windows desktops. Ability to read and understand technical documentation. Well‑organized and self‑starter. Ability to work with a team. Willingness and desire to learn additional IT skills such as Linux and networking. Ability to start a project and see it through to completion. Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation. Ability to lift 20 lbs. Qualifications Fourteen (14) years of experience as a systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional systems engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Requirements Active high‑level authorization to view non‑disclosed information requiring investigative screening. Completion of a security background check required; prior completion is a plus.
