About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Travel experience preferred - High acuity care experience preferred - Experience administering Heparin, PCA, and epidural drips required - Chemotherapy experience if certified Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse patient population. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekends every third schedule. A supervisory reference is required at the time of submission.
