Investor Relations Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations Analyst to support a strategic capital team within a leading alternative investment organization. The team manages non-fund capital formation activities, including co-investments, GP-led secondary transactions, minority sales, and other liquidity solutions. This role will contribute to investor support, data and systems management, transaction coordination, and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, senior-facing environment. This is expected to be a two-year position, with the possibility of extension based on performance, business needs, and team growth. Key Responsibilities Transaction & Investor Support Maintain investor and contact information in Salesforce, including interaction history, meeting notes, and follow-up activity. Prepare accurate data analyses, presentations, and briefing materials for investor engagements and internal discussions. Coordinate selected calls and meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, tracking, and deliverable updates. Data Management, Reporting & Systems Develop deep expertise in Salesforce and serve as a primary team resource for data integrity, consistency, reporting, and ongoing enhancements. Track investor feedback and build, maintain, and enhance investor profiles and engagement records. Partner with operations teams to reconcile and validate information across systems, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and drive issues to resolution. Collaborate with technology partners to improve dashboards, reporting capabilities, workflows, and data quality. Use Excel, including advanced functions and macros where appropriate, to organize, analyze, and communicate data. Apply AI and automation tools to generate insights from proprietary data and improve team efficiency and scalability. Strategic & Operational Initiatives Support investor analysis, fund-related diligence, and other capital formation initiatives. Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen team efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Contribute to ad hoc projects and evolving strategic priorities across the team. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Investor Relations Operations, and other cross-functional partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement. Zero to two years of professional experience, including relevant internships; investor relations, private equity, alternative investments, or financial services experience is preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative concepts clearly. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; candidates should be prepared to complete an Excel assessment during the interview process. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform is a plus, with the ability to develop strong proficiency quickly.
