Outside Sales Business Development Manager – Staffing

Full-Time | Hybrid / Outside Sales | Staffing Industry

We’re looking for a driven Outside Sales Business Development Manager to join our growing staffing team. This is a hunter-style sales role focused on generating new business, developing client relationships, and helping companies solve their workforce needs.

\n

The ideal candidate is a confident relationship builder who enjoys prospecting, networking, making cold calls, meeting clients in person, and closing new business.

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Prospect and develop new staffing clients through cold calling, email, networking, referrals, and onsite visits.
\n
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, HR leaders, and hiring managers.
\n
• Conduct client meetings to identify hiring and workforce needs.
\n
• Present staffing solutions and negotiate new business agreements.
\n
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through close.
\n
• Partner with recruiting and operations teams to deliver excellent client service.
\n
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate repeat business.
\n
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline information in the CRM.
\n
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
\n
• Attend networking events, industry events, and community activities to expand your network.
\n

What You Bring

\n

\n
• 2+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, B2B sales, outside sales, or business development preferred.
\n
• Proven ability to generate new business and close sales.
\n
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• A proactive, self-motivated hunter mentality .
\n
• Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
\n
• Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based sales territory.
\n
• Ability to travel locally for client and prospect meetings.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as required.
\n

Work Model: Hybrid / Outside Sales — combination of office, remote, and onsite client meetings.
