Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.Posting SpecificsBenefits Eligible: YesShift Details: Full time (36 budgeted hours). Three 12 hour shifts a week. Variable shifts.Unit/Location: Holy Rosary EDAdditional Details: ED or critical care RN experience strongly preferred.ScopeRecognize and address patients' psychological and physical needsFoster continuity and quality of care with the well-being of patients and their families in mindAssess a patient's medical status upon admissionAssist in developing individualized treatment plansComply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelinesOversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAsParticipate in clinical team conferencesRequired:Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.Nurses with an ASN degree hired after July 1, 2020 will be required to obtain their BSN within five (5) years of employment when hired into an Acute Care or Residential Living position. In the event the employee does not acquire their BSN by the above deadline, there will be a review process on the nurse's individual circumstances. The review process may provide an unlimited number of options, including an extension of the deadline period for up to 2 years, reassignment to a non-nursing position, or termination based upon management's discretion.Nurses who possess a minimum of ten (10) years of proven Registered Nurse experience in an acute care or long-term care setting or nurses who are hired before July 1, 2020 will be exempt and will not be subject to any requirement to obtain a BSN as a condition of employment at Holy Rosary Healthcare.Current Montana RN licenseCurrent BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart AssociationOne year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferredLocation: Holy Rosary HospitalWork City: Miles CityWork State: MontanaScheduled Weekly Hours: 36The hourly range for this position is listed below.
