Back End Go Developer Role Summary
Magna is seeking a Back End Go Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs that support enterprise applications and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Go (Golang), microservices, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and API development , while working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, QA, Frontend, and DevOps. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) .
- Build scalable microservices and distributed applications.
- Design and implement REST APIs, gRPC services, and event-driven integrations .
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis .
- Integrate messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Azure Service Bus .
- Develop automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines .
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) .
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in Agile development processes and code reviews.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) .
- Strong experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, REST APIs, and gRPC .
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB .
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, Git, Kafka, RabbitMQ , and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and backend architecture.
