Senior Scientist I, Cancer Immunology

Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Scientist I in Cancer Immunology to advance immuno-oncology assets through translational research. The role involves designing and executing studies to address key scientific questions, evaluating emerging technologies, and supporting biomarker discovery for RAS-targeted oncology programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and execute in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo studies for immuno-oncology biomarker discovery
• Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance translational biomarker discovery and mechanistic understanding
• Conduct reverse translation by testing hypotheses from clinical findings to inform development strategy
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data across cross-functional teams and scientific conferences
• Monitor advances in tumor immunology and contribute to preclinical evaluation of combination strategies

Requirements

• Ph.D. in immunology, cancer biology, or related field with deep tumor immunology expertise
• Proven research excellence demonstrated by high-impact publications
• Expertise in in vivo model design for therapeutic efficacy and biomarker evaluation
• Strong technical skills in flow cytometry, primary human cell assays, and molecular biology
• 4+ years biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience in oncology drug discovery
• Excellent problem-solving and independent project oversight capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in collaborative settings
