Step into a dynamic role this October as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school environment near Fenton, MO. This temporary, full-time contract runs through February, providing flexible, impactful work alongside a supportive speech team. With a single school location and consistent hours from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on student progress without the need for travel between sites.

You’ll partner closely with another on-site SLP while providing essential direct services and targeted interventions for young learners in grades K–5. The caseload features manageable case management for six students, a service load of 19 students with IEPs, and 19 students receiving intervention support. Paid time for administrative duties and team meetings is built into your schedule, promoting collaboration and work-life balance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Strong background in school-based SLP services, teletherapy, pediatric care, and/or healthcare SLP roles
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are encouraged to apply
• Successful background check and fingerprint clearance required
• Previous experience with elementary students is a plus but not necessary for well-qualified candidates

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality evaluations, therapy, and interventions for elementary-aged students
• Manage IEP cases, formulate individualized goals, and track student progress
• Work collaboratively with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate actively in meetings and fulfill documentation requirements during provided indirect hours
