This full-time contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work specifically with 6th-grade students for the '26/'27 school year. The position focuses on students at a pivotal stage in their academic journey, where your expertise can boost their confidence and classroom success. There is potential flexibility with virtual (voco) services, depending on the school’s needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence by ASHA)
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate certification
• Prior experience within a school setting, particularly supporting middle school students, is highly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort with digital platforms and teletherapy, if considering a virtual option

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language screenings and assessments for 6th-grade students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to foster a positive learning environment
• Track and document student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Provide support, intervention, and strategies for students with a variety of speech and language needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
