Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license in the state of Ohio
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience in school settings, particularly with middle school students, is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in-person or in a virtual environment
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to 6th-grade students according to IEP requirements
• Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
• Communicate regularly with educators, administrators, and families
• Adapt therapy strategies to meet each student’s unique needs, both onsite and via teletherapy if applicable
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
