What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality patient care to ICU patients across multiple specialized units, including ICU, CIVCU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU.
• Float between ICUs as needed, delivering consistent and compassionate support.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Respond swiftly to patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Comply with all safety and hospital policies, including strict infection control standards.

What You Need

• Active RN license in the state of Louisiana or current compact license
• Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

About the Assignment
This float pool ICU RN position is located at a respected hospital in New Orleans. The unit services a diverse patient population across multiple ICU settings, requiring flexible, experienced nurses capable of floating across units such as SICU, MICU, TICU, neuro ICU, and burn ICU. The role involves working night shifts, and applicants must be open to working holidays and rotating weekends.
