CNC Machinist I

Position Summary Operates both manual and CNC equipment for the efficient production of quality components. Responsible for the production of high-tolerance precision parts. This is a day shift position. Rotating days. Pay: $26.00 per hour plus bonus and benefits. What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist I
• Interpret technical prints.
• Setup, operate and adjust machining equipment for production efficiency with supervision.
• Monitors quality of parts produced to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Abides by all Company safety and health policies and procedures.
• Must use personal protective equipment if required.
• Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives, and supports company ISO requirements.
• Aware of and actively participates in company's Lean philosophy of continuous improvement.
• Ensures measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use.
• Maintains in-process product identification.
• Follows procedure for handling nonconforming parts The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical - CNC Machining degree or
• Minimum one plus years CNC Machine operation
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel Preferred: Vocational/Technical CNC Machining, Machine/Tool Technology degree
Minimum two to three years CNC Machining operation
Data entry system experience
CAM software reading experience
