Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish personalized, evidence-based therapy plans for clients.
\n
• Provide individualized therapy sessions using tailored approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, family therapy meetings, and couple’s counseling, tailored to the unique needs of the participants.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care integrates medical, psychological, and social aspects.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals and families from various backgrounds who may have limited access to mental health resources. Clients may present with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your insights and therapeutic interventions will be pivotal in guiding them towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the State of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team to improve client outcomes.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and other related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.

• A clinical background that involves working with underserved populations or in a community health clinic setting is a plus.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
