As a MIG Welder, you'll perform high-volume pulse MIG welding on mild steel components in a team-oriented production environment. Using weld fixtures and weld symbols, you'll fabricate parts to specification while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional weld quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pulse MIG welding on mild steel components throughout the workday.
• Read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Load and position parts in weld fixtures, complete assigned welds, and move finished units through production.
• Produce consistent, cosmetically appealing welds that meet company quality standards.
• Work efficiently within established cycle times and production goals.
• Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Perform frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Follow standardized welding procedures, production sequences, and work instructions.
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain dependable attendance and contribute to a reliable, team-focused operation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with MIG, pulse MIG, or TIG welding.
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of weld symbols and welding specifications.
• Experience using weld fixtures and production welding equipment.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing setting.
• Capability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• High-volume production welding experience.
• Familiarity with team-based production metrics and weld cell operations.
• Proven ability to maintain weld consistency across large production runs.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on manufacturing role in a production welding facility. The environment can become hot during warmer months, and the work is physically demanding. Team members spend the day welding, lifting, bending, twisting, and moving materials while working toward shared production goals within a weld cell structure.

Safety is a top priority. Welders are required to wear a welding helmet, gloves, weld jacket, steel-toe boots, ear protection, and all other required PPE.

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
