Human Resources Generalist

A growing luxury fashion brand is looking for an HR Generalist to step into a central, high-visibility role shaping the employee experience during a major growth chapter. This isn't a "keep the lights on" HR role, it's a chance to help build the foundation as the brand scales. You'll be a trusted partner across the org, blending day-to-day HR execution with real culture and engagement work. What You'll Own Talent & New Hire Experience: Partner with hiring managers to land top talent and deliver an onboarding experience that sets people up to win from day one. People Operations & Infrastructure: Keep employee data accurate and airtight across HR systems while supporting benefits, payroll updates, and documentation, the backbone that keeps everything running smoothly. Employee Relations & Support: Be the go-to resource employees trust, offering guidance on policies and workplace matters with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. Compliance & Best Practices: Keep the org audit-ready by supporting California labor law compliance, policy updates, reporting, and training tracking. Culture & Engagement: Bring the brand's culture to life internally through events, recognition, and communication that build real connection across teams. What You Bring 2-3+ years of HR experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, small-team environment; fashion, retail, or similar industry experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of California employment law, HR compliance, and payroll coordination. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through — you juggle competing priorities without missing a beat. Experience with HRIS or payroll systems.
