HR Generalist - Full-time Hourly position

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized HR Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of our Human Resources team. The role focuses on delivering smooth onboarding and off‑boarding experiences, coordinating recruitment and internship programs, and contributing to employee engagement and culture initiatives. This is a non‑remote position requiring full‑time presence at our Calabasas office.

Core Responsibilities

Recruitment: open/close job requisitions, schedule and conduct interviews, manage candidate communications, and coordinate offers.

Perform and support virtual job fairs and other recruitment events.

Onboarding & Offboarding: facilitate new‑hire orientation sessions, ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks, audit new‑hire data, support exit surveys, and conduct exit interviews.

Total Rewards: coordinate internal company events and activities, assist with benefits administration during onboarding and open enrollment, and support social and culture initiatives.

Administrative Support: coordinate HR communications and resources, schedule and coordinate department meetings, maintain HR files, track and monitor assigned tasks and projects, liaise between HR and IT for employee changes, support Facilities with front‑desk coverage, run internship program facilitation, prepare presentation materials and logistics for training sessions, serve as in‑office HR representative as needed, and support short‑ and long‑term programs and projects.

Additional responsibilities: support recruiting, training, and onboarding of employees and partnering teams, manage special projects and tasks as assigned, and travel occasionally (economy).

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a related support role.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field preferred.

Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives preferred.

Experience managing multiple concurrent HR processes in a high‑volume or fast‑paced environment preferred.

Familiarity with HRIS systems and office productivity tools; experience with Workday, Timeclock Plus, and ADP Vantage is a plus.

Proficiency handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly to changing needs, and meet deadlines consistently in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and consistency in executing administrative processes accurately.

Customer service orientation, collaborative mindset, and team‑player attitude.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; comfortable learning new software tools.

Motivated personality with an “Everything is possible” attitude; problem‑solving and adaptability required.

Work Environment

Must tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in drastic temperature climates.

Must be available to travel to work during holidays, evenings, and weekend hours as required to meet deadlines.

Compensation
Hiring Hourly Range: $22.00 - $27.00/hour. This estimate is based on what a successful California applicant might be paid and may vary for positions located outside of California.
