- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels and manage ordering processes to minimize waste.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership initiatives.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen management practices.
- Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while minimizing costs.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team building and motivation.
- Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food restaurants is advantageous.
- Knowledge of culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred.
- Experience with catering services or banquet management is a plus.
