Manufacturing Planner & Cost Estimation Specialist

Develops cost estimates on individual parts and updates MRP system accordingly. Performs job planning/routing/steps based on estimates. Reviews customer drawings and understands scope of work to bud Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to estimate costs. Review existing cost components and planning for improvement Obtain pricing for materials. Obtain bids from subcontractors and overhead costs incurred in the manufacture of items. Additional Duties, as assigned. Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be: Must work well with others Must be able to work the scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements, must be flexible enough to work overtime or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it.
