This leadership role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced luxury resort environment and enjoys mentoring a team while delivering exceptional service.Position SummaryThe Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations while providing outstanding beverage service to Burnt Pine members and guests. This role supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by ensuring quality standards, maintaining inventory controls, assisting with staff training, and creating a welcoming and elevated atmosphere throughout the club.The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable in cocktails and wine service, and capable of leading by example in a high-volume beachfront environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standardsDeliver exceptional guest service with a warm, professional, and engaging attitudeLead daily bar operations and assist with opening and closing proceduresTrain, mentor, and support bartending and bar support staffEnsure compliance with all ABC laws, health regulations, and resort policiesMaintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areasMonitor product quality, presentation, and consistencyAssist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking of bar suppliesHandle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale systems accuratelyDevelop creative seasonal cocktails and beverage promotionsCommunicate effectively with kitchen, management, and service teams to ensure seamless operationsResolve guest concerns professionally and promptlyMaintain a positive and team-oriented work environmentSupport special events, member functions, and private club activities as neededQualificationsMinimum 2 years of bartending experience requiredPrevious lead bartender or supervisory experience preferredResort, private club, or upscale restaurant experience strongly preferredExtensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and mixologyStrong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent communication and guest service abilitiesAbility to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environmentMust be dependable, professional, and detail-orientedFlexible schedule required, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysMust meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in FloridaFood Handler and responsible alcohol service certifications preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularlyAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motionsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidityAbility to safely handle glassware, bar equipment, and cleaning chemicalsMust possess manual dexterity to prepare beverages efficiently and accuratelyEOE M/D/F/V
