Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment strategies that take into account each client’s unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques, empowering them through knowledge and support.

• Monitor client progress by regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain effective and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be clients grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will provide support for vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
