D-BAT Prescott is coming to the Prescott area, and we're looking for an exceptional General Manager to help build and lead our new baseball and softball training facility.

This isn't a position for someone who simply wants to manage a facility.

We're looking for a leader, salesperson and self-starter who wants to take ownership of the day-to-day business, enjoys developing people, builds relationships naturally and is motivated by measurable growth.

The General Manager will join D-BAT Prescott during the pre-opening phase , providing a unique opportunity to help build the team, establish the culture, develop relationships throughout the local baseball and softball community, and grow our membership base from the ground up.

D-BAT Prescott will provide athletes and families throughout the Prescott area with a first-class environment to train, develop and enjoy the game.

What You'll Be Responsible For

The General Manager is responsible for both growing the business and running the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive membership sales and active membership growth
• Develop relationships with local families, coaches, schools, teams and baseball/softball organizations
• Build community awareness and establish D-BAT Prescott as a leader in the local baseball and softball community
• Recruit, interview, hire, train and develop a high-performing team
• Lead Assistant Managers, instructors and facility personnel
• Establish a strong sales and customer-service culture
• Create and execute local sales and marketing initiatives
• Generate opportunities for memberships, lessons, camps, clinics, rentals and events
• Oversee scheduling and day-to-day facility operations
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Manage multiple revenue streams and understand the financial performance of the business
• Establish expectations and hold employees accountable
• Identify opportunities and solve problems proactively
• Represent D-BAT professionally throughout the Prescott community

Qualifications

We're looking for demonstrated management or leadership experience, strong sales and relationship-building skills, experience hiring and developing employees, excellent communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Experience in baseball, softball, youth sports, fitness, recreation or another membership-based business is strongly preferred but not required .

Previous GM, Assistant GM, Sales Manager, Membership Director, sports-facility or similar leadership experience is also preferred.

A baseball or softball background is an advantage, but we're ultimately looking for a great business operator and leader who is passionate about sports and people.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position.

Because D-BAT serves youth athletes and families, the General Manager must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends based on business needs.

Compensation

Starting Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

We believe exceptional performance should be rewarded. The Year 1 compensation plan provides a clear opportunity for the GM to increase both base salary and total compensation by growing D-BAT Prescott's active membership base.

Base Salary Growth

Upon reaching 150 Active Paid Memberships , annual base salary increases by $2,500 .

Upon reaching 300 Active Paid Memberships , annual base salary increases by an additional $2,500 .

That creates a potential Year 1 base salary range of $55,000-$65,000 , depending on starting salary and membership performance.

Monthly Membership Performance Bonuses

At 350-399 active members: $500/month

At 400-449 active members: $1,000/month

At 450-499 active members: $1,500/month

At 500+ active members: $2,000/month

*Monthly Membership performance bonus based on month-end measurement.
