Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens
\n Lexington, KY
\n Level 1 Trauma Center | Acute Care Hospital

Overview:
\n We are seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time locum assignment at a premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Lexington, KY. This is a high-acuity, team-based environment with strong support and consistent scheduling.

Assignment Details:

\n
• Start Date: October 5, 2026 (flexible after August)
\n
• Contract Length: 26 weeks with extension options
\n
• Schedule: Full-time, 4x10s per week
\n
• Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
\n
• Availability Requirement: Must be available 4 weeks/month
\n
• Preference: Candidates open to 10:00 AM start times will be prioritized
\n
• No Call
\n

Practice Setting:

\n
• Acute Care Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
\n
• Medically directed model (CRNAs supervised by anesthesiologists)
\n
• Team includes CRNAs, anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents
\n
• Typical patient volume: 1–9 per day
\n
• All age groups (excluding neonates)
\n

Case Mix:

\n
• Orthopedic
\n
• Trauma
\n
• Vascular
\n
• Neuro (no cardiac)
\n
• Non-OR Anesthesia (NORA) required
\n

Required Skills & Procedures:

\n
• Intubation
\n
• Central lines
\n
• Arterial lines
\n
• Line placement
\n
• (Blocks not typically required, no OB)
\n

Requirements:

\n
• NBCRNA Board Certification
\n
• Active KY license (or willingness to obtain – licensing support provided)
\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience (no new grads)
\n
• Recent experience in a large medical center
\n
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
\n

Additional Details:

\n
• Holiday pay: 1.5x standard rate
\n
• Travel & lodging support available
\n
• Weekly expense allowance up to $1,500 (in lieu of reimbursements)
\n
