CHIEF OF Staff

Role We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with our Co‑Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO). You'll help run our NewYork City office and R&D organization across engineering, product, and design. The role is dynamic, including attending key meetings, owning strategic projects, building models and analyses, drafting communications, and identifying and fixing process gaps. One week you might be overhauling our recruiting process; the next you might be analyzing global R&D spend or researching a new market we’re considering entering. The role is five days a week in person at our NewYork City office. Responsibilities Attend key meetings on behalf of or alongside the CPO, take ownership of follow‑ups, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Own strategic projects end to end—including improving our R&D recruiting process, analyzing global R&D spend for optimization opportunities, and researching new markets. Build models, dashboards, and analyses that help the CPO make faster and better decisions. Draft communications, memos, and presentations for internal and external audiences. Identify process gaps across the R&D org and drive improvements without being asked. Serve as connective tissue between the CPO and the broader team, ensuring context flows in both directions. The role is very dynamic and fast‑paced; you will work on a variety of different things and gain exposure to all facets of the business. Qualifications Degree from a top university with a strong academic record. 2‑6 years of experience in consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a fast‑moving startup. Extremely hardworking and accountable—do what you say you’ll do, and do it fast. Analytically strong and comfortable with numbers—build models, structure datasets, and present findings clearly. AI‑native. Either already using AI heavily or highly motivated to make it a core part of how you operate. Strong communicator in writing and in person. A self‑starter who can handle messy problems with minimal context and find a clear output. Thrives in a fast‑moving environment and has a bias toward action. Comfortable being always on; the role moves at the speed of a startup with late nights and weekends. Genuinely ambitious—want a big impact and willing to put in the work to make that happen. Growth This is a tour of duty role that typically leads to a senior role such as Product Manager or head of a large department. It is a fast‑track path for early‑career professionals who aspire to run their own companies or take on significant responsibility in a startup.
