What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating urgent, routine, or long-term health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians as warranted
• Educating both patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and managing illnesses
• Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up care and chronic illness management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, unified care
• Accurately recording all information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• A graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• A current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or any equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
