Category Management Manager

What You'll Do As Manager, Category Management, you'll lead category strategy, supplier partnerships, and sourcing initiatives across medical and non-medical spend categories. You'll collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities, reduce variation, optimize costs, and ensure the highest levels of quality and service. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a team of Category Specialists Driving strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management initiatives Partnering with clinical and business leaders to support value-based decision making Managing supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement programs Supporting new product evaluations and value analysis processes Identifying savings opportunities and delivering measurable financial impact Leveraging market intelligence, benchmarking data, and analytics to inform sourcing strategies Collaborating across Finance, Compliance, Legal, IT, and Operations to implement best practices and drive organizational adoption of new initiatives What Makes You Successful We're looking for a strategic, results-oriented leader who combines strong business acumen with exceptional relationship-building skills. You bring: Experience leading sourcing, category management, procurement, vendor management, or value analysis functions Proven success managing and developing high-performing teams Strong negotiation and contract management expertise A data-driven approach to decision making and continuous improvement The ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across complex organizations Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills A passion for driving meaningful change and delivering measurable results Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 7+ years of experience in sourcing, category management, vendor management, contract administration, or related fields 5+ years of people leadership experience Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing strategic vendor relationships Knowledge of procurement, project management, and business process improvement methodologies Why join our team?
