Medical Front Desk Position – Pee Dee Hearing Center (Florence, SC)

Pee Dee Hearing Center, a nonprofit dedicated to improving access to affordable hearing care, is seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Position to be the welcoming face of our office. We will consider part or full-time.

What You’ll Do

• Greet patients and create a warm, supportive experience

• Answer phones and schedule appointments

• Assist with intake forms and patient questions

• Process payments and maintain basic records

• Support daily office operations and staff coordination

What We’re Looking For

• Customer service or office experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable with computers (email, scheduling, Microsoft Office)

• Compassion and patience—especially when working with individuals with hearing challenges

• Basic knowledge/understanding of health insurance terminology

• Familiarity with medical scheduling systems

Pay: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch closure).
