Accountant

Randstad client in Oxford CT is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to support its Controller with general ledger management, journal entry clean-up, and account reconciliations over the next 2 to 3 months. This position has strong potential to transition into a permanent direct-hire role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with day-to-day general ledger operations.
• Review, correct, and perform cleanup of historical journal entries.
• Complete monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Identify and correct accounting discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with month-end closing activities as needed.

salary: $30 - $33 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
