Business Development& Marketing Manager

Job Title HUTCHINSON AEROSPACE & INDUSTRY, INC. Location: United States Industry: Strategy, Business & Economy Contract Type: Permanent Experience: Minimum 6 years Activities Required Skills: Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. US citizen preferred but not mandatory. Working technical knowledge in Aerospace & Aero-Defense products in general and aerostructures, Aircraft interior components and systems or equivalent industry. 6-10 years' experience in capturing new business in those related products. Ability to work independently as well as work with and a team of individuals in the office and across functional areas, as well as being able to work with the company's Business Units in NA and overseas. Effective time management, facilitation, and organizational skills; understand and implement Risk Management principles, and able to communicate effectively with current and with new customers. Desired Skills: Strong attention to strategy, implementation, delegation and follow up. Strong influencing skills and ability to build alliances. Excellent communication with interpersonal and analytical skills Daily Responsibilities: Work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, management and assigned personnel to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plans, budget, and proposal development efforts. Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events as needed. Develop and mature professional relationships with potential customers from the Aerospace and Aero-Defense related companies, suppliers, and industries. In addition responsible for tracking performance dashboard with key customers for the various divisions. Communication Skills: The individual must be capable of preparing and presenting detailed reports and presentations to customers, management, peers, and partners, thus a high level of competency in both written and communication. Ability to communicate in French or German is a plus. Technical Skills: The individual must be competent in engineering/technologies necessary to perform the required work and to be able to understand technical papers and discussions. Computer Skills: The individual shall be fluent working with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Besides the academic degrees, no special certificates, licenses, or registrations are required. Work Environment and Place of Employment: The primary work environment shall be in Hutchinson-ADI's Bellevue office and in-person role. The individual may be required to travel both within the US and throughout the world. Salary range will be set at $150,000 to $165,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
