Roll Thread Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Arlington, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:15 PM

Job Summary

Our client is seeking Spanish-speaking Roll Thread Operators for its Arlington, TX manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating thread rolling machinery used in fastener production.

Qualified candidates should have hands-on machine operation experience and be comfortable installing and adjusting dies, gears, pressure mechanisms, and other machine components to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll thread machines according to production specifications.

• Install, adjust, and modify machine components, including dies, gears, and pressure mechanisms, for specific production runs.

• Feed workpieces and materials into thread rolling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor the thread rolling process to maintain accuracy, consistency, and production quality.

• Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain proper thread specifications.

• Inspect finished parts for defects and verify product quality.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify machine, tooling, or production issues.

• Follow production work orders, operating procedures, and quality requirements.

• Complete required production and quality documentation.

• Follow all machine safety procedures and required PPE standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Communicate production or equipment issues to supervisors and team members.

Required Experience

• Previous experience operating production, machining, metal-forming, or similar industrial equipment.

• Hands-on experience setting up or adjusting machine components for production runs.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Previous thread rolling or roll thread machine experience.

• Experience manufacturing fasteners, bolts, screws, or other threaded metal components.

• Experience with machine setup, tooling changes, dies, gears, or pressure adjustments.

Required Skills

• Machine Setup & Adjustment: Ability to install, adjust, and modify dies, gears, pressure mechanisms, and related machine components.

• Thread Rolling / Machine Operation: Ability to safely feed workpieces, operate equipment, and monitor production for precision and consistency.

• Spanish Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish with supervisors and production team members.
