We are hiring a CNC Programmer for our client in the Gibsonton FL area. This is Layout/Programmer position for CNC machines, specific a Burn Table machine. Pay depends on the REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ranges $18 - 26 an hour.

The CNC Layout/Programmer position IS A Class A machine operator, it is a Burn Table position. The primary role of the CNC Layout/Programmer is to read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance to blueprint specifications. Perform test runs and make adjustments until the product meets blueprints. Possess the ability to train new employees on properly operating the machines and perform basic maintenance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum 3 years’ previous experience working in a steel manufacturing setting is REQUIRED

2. High school diploma or equivalent

MUST HAVES / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
1. Must have strong attention to detail
2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
3. Strong mechanical aptitude is required
4. Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
5. Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
6. Should have a positive and professional attitude
7. Capable of standing for extended periods of time
8. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time
9. Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols
