Your Role

• Perform comprehensive evaluations on patients across all age groups using recognized assessment techniques and keen observational skills.
• Create individualized treatment plans that integrate immediate objectives with ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing strategies.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that specialize in various facets of communication, including fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, medical staff, and families to ensure a holistic care approach.
• Empower families with educational resources to promote sustained progress beyond therapy visits.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition throughout their healing journey.
• Maintain full compliance with documentation standards set forth by governing bodies and your organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ASHA-supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (if applicable).

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
