Project Manager, QGenda ImplementationProject Manager, QGenda ImplementationCharleston, South CarolinaAdministrative, Operations, Program, & Project ManagementBusiness OperationsFull TimeMUSC Physicians (MUSCP)Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end implementation of QGenda across MUSC Community Physicians, from planning through go-live and stabilizationDevelop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverablesCoordinate cross-functional teams including operations, clinical leadership, and system administratorsTrack progress, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with organizational goalsProvide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadershipStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for implementation efforts across multiple departments and sitesPartner with physician leaders, administrators, and schedulers to understand operational needs and align system designFacilitate meetings, working sessions, and decision-making forumsCommunicate project updates, risks, and changes clearly and proactivelySystem Implementation & CoordinationCollaborate with QGenda system administrators and analysts to support system configuration, scheduling templates, and workflowsEnsure consistency and standardization of scheduling practices where appropriate, while accommodating operational nuancesOversee data migration, validation, and system testing effortsCoordinate go-live planning, including readiness assessments and support structuresChange Management & AdoptionDevelop and execute change management strategies to support adoption across diverse user groupsIdentify potential resistance points and proactively address adoption challengesPartner with training teams to ensure effective onboarding, education, and support materialsPromote best practices and standardized workflows across the organizationRisk Management & Problem SolvingIdentify project risks, barriers, and dependencies early and develop mitigation strategiesEscalate issues appropriately and drive resolution in a timely mannerAdapt project plans in response to evolving organizational priorities or constraintsPost-Implementation OptimizationSupport post-go-live stabilization and issue resolutionGather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunitiesPartner with analytics and operations teams to evaluate system effectiveness and clinic utilization outcomesTransition ongoing support and ownership to operational and system administration teamsSuccess in This Role Looks LikeSuccessful, on-time rollout of QGenda across MUSC Community PhysiciansHigh adoption and satisfaction among providers, schedulers, and administratorsStandardized, efficient scheduling workflows across sitesMinimal disruption to clinical operations during implementationClear visibility into scheduling, capacity, and utilization post-implementationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience3–5+ years experience, preferably in healthcare leadership, operations, project management, or systems implementationProven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholdersStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsExperience managing timelines, risks, and deliverables in a structured project environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with healthcare scheduling systems (QGenda strongly preferred; Amion, Kronos, Shift Admin, etc. also relevant)Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)Familiarity with provider scheduling, ambulatory operations, or clinical workflowsExperience with large-scale system implementations or digital transformationsExperience with data reporting or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)Growth & Career PathThis role is designed as both an implementation leadership position and a pathway to long-term ownership of QGenda within MUSC Community Physicians.Following a successful rollout, this position may transition into a Senior Analyst role responsible for ongoing system optimization, analytics, governance, and strategic scheduling initiatives across the network.Work EnvironmentThis role requires collaboration across a broad network of clinical and administrative stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a dynamic healthcare environment, managing competing priorities, and driving alignment across diverse teams and locations.
