DevOps Release Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end release and change management activities in a DevOps-driven environment. The role ensures smooth, timely, and high-quality software releases by collaborating across development, QA, operations, and business teams while maintaining governance, risk control, and continuous delivery best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage all release and change management activities across environments
• Build, maintain, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Coordinate across Dev, QA, Operations, and Production Support teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases
• Execute change management processes and ensure proper communication with key stakeholders
• Organize and participate in release meetings, manage risks, and track action items
• Review quality controls and facilitate approvals during release cycles
• Create and maintain implementation plans and manage dependencies across teams
• Support environment management and configuration management activities
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning and testing activities
• Work closely with business product owners, architects, tech leads, and development teams
• Operate effectively in Agile and Continuous Delivery environments

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in Change Management and Release Management processes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build, and deployment processes
• Working experience with ServiceNow and JIRA
• Proficiency in GIT, Jenkins, and CI/CD automation tools
• Experience with AWS Cloud services including EKS, ALB, EC2, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container-based Docker deployments
• Knowledge of CMDB concepts and DevOps best practices
• Experience working in 24x7 production and continuous delivery environments
• Exposure to disaster recovery testing and coordination
