Vice President, Corporate Development

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks an experienced Vice President of Corporate Development to lead the organization's global mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This executive role reports to the CFO and requires hands-on oversight of deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, and post-merger integration to drive enterprise value creation.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute corporate development strategy aligned to long-range company plan
- Identify, source, and prioritize acquisition targets and strategic partnerships across life sciences
- Lead end-to-end deal execution including valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence teams and post-merger integration planning
- Develop relationships with investment banks, advisors, founders, and industry stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related field
- Proven track record executing complex M&A transactions end-to-end
- Experience sourcing founder-led businesses and collaborating with investment banks
- Preferred background in life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare services
- Global transaction and partnership experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Executive-level communication and senior stakeholder influence skills
Compensation: $213,500–$423,500 base annually
