Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC is partnering with a well-established manufacturer of specialty products used in commercial and institutional environments to find an Architectural Sales Specialist to grow its presence throughout the assigned territory.

This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working with architects, landscape architects, designers, and other industry influencers to introduce product solutions, influence project specifications, and develop business that turns into long-term revenue.

What You'll Do:

• Build and grow relationships with architectural firms, landscape architects, interior designers, and other A&D professionals throughout Southern California.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
• Present product solutions through in-person meetings, lunch-and-learns, and educational presentations.
• Influence projects early in the design process by helping professionals understand product applications and incorporate solutions into project specifications.
• Manage a consultative sales process from initial introduction through specification, project development, and award.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers, specifiers, and project influencers.
• Represent the company at AIA, ASLA, trade shows, and other industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project requirements and drive sales growth.
• Maintain an active pipeline and accurate account information in the CRM.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 3 years of B2B sales experience in architectural products, building materials, commercial construction, landscape architecture, or a related industry.
• Experience calling on architects, landscape architects, designers, contractors, or other commercial project stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills, including the ability to lead product presentations or educational sessions.
• Experience developing new business and managing longer, consultative sales cycles.
• A proactive, self-directed approach to territory management and prospecting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory for client meetings and industry events.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably within Business, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
