We are currently seeking an experienced LEAD CARPENTER with 5+ years of residential remodeling experience. Pay is relative to experience, with a range of $35-$45/hour RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for working with our Director of Production on various residential and commercial jobs. Must have experience with home and commercial remodeling, from demolition to finish carpentry, with expertise in rough, exterior, siding, windows, doors and trim work. Good communication skills and maintaining client satisfaction throughout the construction process is critical, along with monitoring active projects as a supervisor in the field. SPECIFIC DUTIES Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. Measure, cut and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. Finish Carpentry experience to include hanging cabinets, fitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim, and molding Installation and repair of various types of siding, soffits, and facias Construct building frameworks, rough framing (including wood studs, steel studs setting hollow metal frames), building decks & fences Keeping work area clean Reporting any issues to management QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 5+ years of current/proven experience as a rough/exterior carpenter in remodeling and/or trim carpentry Field supervisor or project management role preferred Knowledge of safety standards and procedures The ability to safely operate power tools and have your own hand tools Strong leadership skills Knowledge in construction layout, adjoining materials, full understanding of the construction process, quality standards, safe practices, efficiency standards and job site leadership The ability to lift/carry 70 pounds consistently #J-18808-Ljbffr
